Hi, my name is Amora Shams,
I have been in the world of BellyDance since the times were BellyDancers were seen as stars, since the 1980's. Teaching since 1993 always the purest and traditional BellyDance styles of the dancers of the past.
I hate to see nowadays how many dancers have destroyed the image of BellyDance creating another form of dance which is totally different from what use to be.
I am a defender of the high quality and will like to have my School based in Egypt, the place where was the origin of this Cultural & Historic Dance.
I have been providing with International Certification Levels to my Formation Courses students (BBDC & BGBDC) since 2012, recognized by UNESCO Dance Department since 1995, and I am an Equity Member of the Spanish Association of Dancers in Madrid since 1998.
I created a course were my students starting from zero achieve bravo's from their Arabian public after 20 intensive days program, where they learn all what they need to know from zero to professional.
I am the only teacher in the world who can achieve these results in such a short time and is because I developed a unique teaching technique which was born from my mom's original teaching techniques, which are based in the ritualistic ancestral Pharaonic times dancing style.
She has been my mentor and she is known for been an archeological BellyDancer. I only teach female students, because of tradition I'm not allowed to teach men, so I only have taught for free certain moves online, so my online income is zero.
I have been over 15 years with a YouTube account sharing my dancing videos to the world, and until today I never got paid for them, just because I performed to the music of someone else, which I think is unfair because without my dancing image, none one would have listen to the music I used to perform and uploaded to YouTube.
I complained to YouTube once, and they removed the audio of my most watched video with millions of viewers. Nowadays still doesn't sound.
I am making a project with my mom Alia Shams, and we need help to create it one in Egypt & another one in a Jungle which we have not found yet because needs to be a totally virgin area without wireless technology.
In Egypt I want to create a place where my students in the future can teach only the Golden Era & Traditional style, because BellyDance was something respectful to watch and perform and nowadays to be a bellydancer in Egypt is very bad, because the majority of Egyptians think that BellyDancers are prostitute's from the way they move and dress.
I have been living in Egypt for many years, and there are many homeless children, known as the kids of the streets of Egypt. Mainly you see them in Cairo.
I want to have a big land with a main building where my school will be, and around the small houses for my school students, and a homeless children residency, to give them food, education, and a future.
Because of this, I need to buy a big land probably in the desert, and produce fruit trees of all kinds, growing organic vegetables, and a farm, for feeding those who need to eat in Egypt, not only the children that will be in our residence.
As I only teach private female students, no groups, I don't make enough money to develop these projects, I have try to do it alone for a long time, but the fees I charge for my courses only pay the expenses that produce to teach them, specially when I have to travel where the students want to study it. For example, to travel to teach the private course in Egypt, I have to pay my food, my flights, my accommodation, my tickets to enter tourist destinations to accompany my private student & my transportation.
I'm also an architect, builder, and I love teaching others how to do things, such as surviving skills, crafts, painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.
I could help lots of people, but I don't have the economic backup to do it, that's why I'm here asking for support.
If you want to help to develop the project on GoFundMe follow their instructions, but you can also make your donation strait through my website
I would appreciate your support, every single share and donation makes a difference and helps me get closer to my goals.
Thank you and God bless you all those who help! 🙏 💖
